Dr Anthony Hua completed his Dentistry studies at Griffith University and graduated with First Class Honours (Class IA). Dr Hua’s passion, expertise and dedication to the field of dentistry have been recognised by his achievement of numerous prestigious awards and grants from the Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF), the Golden Key International Honours Society and Colgate Professional. He has presented his own clinical research on Dental Anxiety at various forums, including the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Scientific Meeting.
Dr Hua was rated the 2018 top Cosmetic Dentist in Tweed Heads by Three Best Rated. In addition, he was also awarded the iDiG Dental Excellence in Reconstructive Technology Award (Functional Smile Reconstruction). Dr Hua’s aesthetic excellence can be seen on many famous smiles, including NRL footballers, TV presenters and models.

Dr Hua has undertaken a post-graduate program of accreditation with the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), achieving Level III accreditation – which enables him scope to practice across implant treatment planning, surgical placement and restorative prosthetics.
He is one of only a few dentists in Australia that has been trained and certified in Advanced Laser Dentistry, obtained from both the Laser LifeCare Institute and the Fleming Laser Institute.
This enables him to perform Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry to the highest standard.

All it took was a day of observing his childhood Dentist, and Dr Leong was inspired. With a passion for helping others, Dr Leong enrolled in Griffith University to complete his Dental degree, where he graduated with Academic Excellence.
Dr Leong is known for his friendly chairside manner and gentle approach. He is committed to changing the stereotypes of daunting experiences at the dentist. He loves getting to know his patients and enjoys working with children to ensure positive
dental experiences start from the very beginning and continue throughout life. Dr Leong’s passion also extends to Cosmetic Dentistry, particularly in restoring his patient’s confidence with smile makeovers. In 2017, he was awarded the iDiG Dental Excellence in Reconstructive Technology Award (Cosmetic Smile Reconstruction).
Outside of work, Dr Leong is an avid North Queensland Cowboys supporter. He enjoys staying active in the gym and exploring trendy cafes across the Gold Coast.
