Dr Anthony Hua is the founder and Principal Dentist of Burleigh Dental Studio. Dr Hua’s dedication to dental excellence has been recognised through his current roles as one of four National advisors for the Australian Dental Association Seal of Approval (SOA) panel, a Key Opinion Leader and clinical advisor for SDI Australia, and a Thought Leader for the Golden Key International Honour Society. He is currently rated the Top Dentist in Gold Coast by Three Best Rated and was awarded the Australian Dentist of the Year in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2023. Dr Hua’s aesthetic excellence can be seen on many famous smiles from TV presenters, NRL footballers, international executives and models to fellow Doctors and Dentists.
He completed his Dentistry studies at Griffith University and graduated with First Class Honours (Class IA). Dr Hua’s passion and expertise in the field of dentistry have been recognised by his achievement of Fellowship status with the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has received Certificates of Achievement from the internationally acclaimed Goethe University (Germany) and New York University (USA), and has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes and grants from the Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF), the Golden Key International Honour Society and Colgate Professional. Dr Hua has presented his own clinical research on Dental Anxiety at various forums, including the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Scientific Meeting.

Dr Hua is one of only a handful of dentists in Australia to successfully obtain Fellowships in both the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has completed a post-graduate program of accreditation with ASID providing him advanced scope to practice across implant treatment planning, surgical placement and restorative prosthetics.
Being part of only a few dentists in Australia that has been trained and certified in Advanced Laser Dentistry, obtained from both the Laser LifeCare Institute and the Fleming Laser Institute enables him to perform Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry to the highest standard.

Dr Nathoo is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who graduated from Griffith University with academic excellence, reflecting her strong commitment to both clinical skill and patient care. Originally from New Zealand, she now proudly calls the Gold Coast home.
With a broad scope of interests across general and advanced dentistry, Dr Nathoo is particularly passionate about Invisalign, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and preventive care. What truly sets Dr Nathoo apart is her love for transforming patients’ perceptions of dentistry. Known for creating a calm and positive experience, she finds it deeply rewarding to help patients overcome dental anxiety and achieve life changing results, whether it’s restoring function, enhancing a smile, or simply building confidence.

Dr Elizabeth Dove

Dr Elizabeth Dove, known as Lizzie by all, graduated from Dentistry in 2012 from Griffith University, Gold Coast. After graduating she lived and worked privately in Sydney. She enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city but missed our sunny Gold Coast.
Dr Dove has extensive experience in many aspects of dentistry. Her experience in general dentistry is preventatively and aesthetically focused, driven by her desire to deliver treatment that is bespoke for the individual patient’s health needs, aesthetic desires and long-term success. The most rewarding part of her role is helping patients become more comfortable with dental treatment and creating a beautiful confident smile they can be proud of.
Her expertise spans all aspects of dentistry ranging from general and emergency dental treatments to more complex veneers, crowns, composite bonding, full mouth rehabilitation and dental implants. Dr Dove also enjoys and excels in paediatrics, having treated children of all ages.
Dr Dove’s particular area of interest is with aesthetics and Invisalign clear aligners. In 2013 Dr Dove became an accredited Invisalign provider. She then collaborated with the Post Graduate School of Dentistry to help develop and deliver their course the Graduate Diploma of Aesthetic Orthodontics (Sequential Aligner Therapy) to fellow dentists. Throughout this collaboration she gained a deep understanding of dental and facial aesthetics and comprehensive skills in delivering multidisciplinary treatment involving both Invisalign and aesthetic procedures such as composite bonding, veneers and crowns.
Dr Dove believes that you never stop learning and is committed to continuing education. She is a current member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (APS) and Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology (ASDA). Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, getting creative with photography, baking and keeping active at the gym (which means less guilt when enjoying those baked goods).
